Assam Meghalaya Flight Package
Day 01 - Guwahati Airport Pickup
After receive from Guwahati airport, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative and visit Balaji Temple & Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra-a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Later transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 02 - Guwahati to Kaziranga - Sightseeing
After breakfast visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country, on the way visit Lankeswar Temple -an ancient temple dedicated to Shiva on top of a hill in the western part of the Guwahati. (if time permits) . Later transfer to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park n the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening Free for Leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 03 - Kaziranga to Shillong - Sightseeing
JUNGLE ACTIVITIES AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - Shillong
After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Western Range for an Elephant Ride (direct payment). After the ride return back to the Hotel. After breakfast drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a Jeep safari. (direct payment). Later transfer to Shillong. Overnight stay in Hotel in Shillong .
Day 04 - Shillong - Full day local Sightseeing
Shillong is famous for its clean steep streets, beautiful lakes, parks and of course the breathtaking waterfalls. So next day, we will take you out on a local sightseeing. Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Elephant falls, etc. are some notable sightseeing destinations. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 05 - Shillong to Cherrapunjee - via Mawlynnong Village & Dawki
After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Transfer to Cherrapunjee. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 06 - Cherrapunjee to Shillong - Sightseen
Today after breakfast explore Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sisier falls,Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park . Later back to Shillong.Overnight at Shillong.
Day 07 - Shillong to Guwahati Airport Drop
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. Check in hotel. Later visit Kamakhya temple - considered the most sacred and oldest of the 51 Shakti peethas on earth. Then drop to Airport.
